Yup its still Medreas. But PURPLE. I know the skull design is quite common on characters, but Meddy's a witchdoctor (And the tophat and skull face are in worship of Baron de Samedi), and most things about her stem from different forms of Voodoo.

The rings on her neck are from North Africa, as is the reason she's bare breasted, as many vodun mambos are. Her porcupine quill mane is from South African Sangoma doctors who wear them as a crown. I felt the red and white skin she usually had was looking really gaudy, and purple being a spiritual color seemed to work.

I forgot her horns, to be honest. But it seems to work better without them, how do you wear a hat with such big horns?

The bendy thing in her hand is called a sjambok. A semi flexible stick that can be an effective weapon, made from buffalo skin, commonly.

The thing on her right breast is scarrification inflicted by Hedribaen. Because Med's skin heals quickly, when it does, the skin will realign itself into a scar resembling a russian cross.

She's also got more lip/chin rings.
And she got her trenchcoat back!

So yes. Please LOTS of comments, I worked four hours on this. I'll be redrawing those pictures for the competition because her whole facial structure is new too.

And please... please don't call her Barney o_o I know she's purple but really.
